Number Nine Studios - About
- History -
After 10 years of working in a small room with no patchbay, booths and kind of poor acoustics we decided to start looking for a way better working spot. The 10year experience taught us a lot and we knew that we had to focus on acoustics and workflow, decent gear was important from the beginning... We found an old carpenter’s workplace, 450 square meters of space to fill in with the right live rooms, booths and control room. Halls in between them would be used as reverb rooms and everything should be patched.
As a result, we can offer 11 spaces, all with different acoustics and 6 reflecting/absorbing pannels, 22 removable basstraps in the ceiling, everything patched for mics, monitoring and with a speakerpatch, so you can plug in your cab where ever you want in the building. The result is a studio with an incredible workflow advance, a well trained band can record an album in 6 or 7 days, even less for smaller setups. As you will notice when you check the tech rider and gear list, you will find that we always chose for quality products, vintage or new… have a look around and discover what fun place these studios are to work in.
